Wilderness Awaits .....

Happy Wednesday !!!
Fall in love with this beautiful nature inspired stamp set, Wilderness Awaits. It's a great set for water-colouring.  I used last years fall DSP for my background, added the  . For my main frame, I used the Deco Framelits second smallest with watercolour paper and layered accordingly with Cajun Craze, Old Olive cardstock. I did the colouring and embellished with burlap ribbon, eyelit and old olive bakers twine. Not my best colouring but it's a first attempt, I must admit the dog came out better just need to put the card together.

Hope you like it.  Have a wonderful day stampin'

With Sympathy

Hi my crafty peeps!

Happy Wednesday!  I am sorry I didn't post anything over the last few days, I feel like I have been making this same excuse again and again (you are probably sick of hearing it too). So, I have decided I will not say I am sorry for dissapearing and really to be honest  I am not that sorry. I have been trying to spend more time with my husband, friends and improving my overall health and truth to be told they are my main priority right now.

By the time I decide and actually make a card days have gone by or it's too late to write a post. Now, I have a nice stack of cards I need to take pictures of and share with you. I am also in the process of trying to set up a space to take decent photos of my cards, haven't quite grasped it yet.

Anyways, today I have a Sympathy card to share using the "Thoughts and Prayers" stamp set.

I will try to be back tomorrow with another creation for you!

Awesomely Artistic

Hi my crafty peeps!

I have been back from Vegas for a week and ready to cardmake!  Today I am making a card that is Clean and Simple.  This is the first time I am using the "Awesomely Artistic" stamp set and I just love it.

For my card base I used Blackberry Bliss and the new thick Whisper white card stock and stamped the images with Blackberry Bliss, Macroon Mint and Tip Top Taupe ink pads.

I then cut the sentiment using the Project life framelits and adhered it to the card with Dimensionals. Then I added some thread and rhinestones (bling) and voila all done.  I really like how it turned out!

Stay tuned, for more eye candy coming up soon over the next 2 weeks.
(I am learning all the new vocabulary that other SU Demos use hee hee)

A-well-a, everybody's heard about the bear. Bear, bear, bear, b-bear'sthe word!

Hi my crafty peeps!

Happy Friday!
Love this title it is a twist on the song "Surfin' Bird" by the Trashmen, loved that song when I was little, I would put the LP on my little mini player and sing along!

I am back today with another Stampin' Up! Holiday Sneak peek, this time it's Thankful Forest Friends stamp.

I stamped the image on Vanilla card stock and added little accents.
I die cut the image using the banner framelits from Stampin' Up! then I used some Burlap ribbon, tiny leaves and Rhinestones to decorate the image panel. I adhered the whole image on some SU! dsp and mounted it on a Soft Suede card base.

Check back tomorrow for another sneak peek!

Spot of tea, anyone ...

Hello my crafty peeps!

Today I am making a few cards with my July Paper Pumpkin "Thanks a Latte".

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.  As you may know I LOVE anything tea related being of British decent and all....

But also with the quality of this months Paper Pumpkin.  I had joined back in 2013 but soon stopped 3 months in as I found them to simple and more or less just stickers, BUT, a friend asked me to try them again and YES Stampin' Up! has tried to make them better and more universal/global.

A little birdie who went to convention told me I will really love August and Septembers Paper Pumpkin.  If you haven't tried it, you should it is a great way to whip up a bunch of cards or even a get together with friends for an evening of cardmaking...

Even better, first time subscribers receive 50% off their first 2 months

NEW Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog is coming!

There’s nothing like flipping through a real copy of the catalog.

I had seen the catalog online in the demonstrators website but a friend of mine had been to convention and brought me back a catalog!!! How nice is that, now every day I flip through it and my wish list is getting bigger by the day, not sure how I will stop myself from buying it all!

The catalog is loaded with many more products for Halloween, Fall, Christmas and Winter holidays.  I personally LOVE Fall, all the new DSP and a few of the stamps are just itchin to jump into my cart!

One thing I do like that is in the Stampin' Up! catalog is the new Whisper White Thick A4 card stock in 270gsm great addition to the Stampin' Up! card stock range. You can now make white card bases that stand up!

If you would like to receive your very own hard copy; please email me.

Deanne and I will hold a Christmas stamp a stack class, hopefully in September.
This, is such a great way to get a head start on your holiday cards.

Make sure you check out the Holiday Mini Catalog available September 1st!

Hugs, Karen
