Marker Club ....

Okay Peeps!

I am thinking of starting a "Marker Club" ... This is how it would work:

5 members for this club.
Each person gets one row of markers each month.
I order the entire box of markers plus in colors each month.
I also order the paper to match.
I always ship it to me/ not the hostess so I can separate the order.

The hostess received In-colors + paper + marker carrier !
The other members each received a color family + paper.

Each month I will suggest that the hostess make it a party so that we could add on orders and she gets more benefits!

Pricing- I will add all the items that I mentioned above to a cart and divide it by 5.  That was the price for each member each month.  You must commit to all 5 months.  We could do it every other month so that you aren't spending that amount each month.

Let me know your thoughts and if this is something you would be interested in...

What is Paper Pumpkin...

Hello my crafty peeps!

Have you ever wondered "What is Paper Pumpkin?"
Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription stamping kit.
Each month a new kit is shipped directly to you.
And it includes everything you need to make the monthly projects.  Including stamps, inks and materials.  All you might want to add is scissors and adhesive.  There are multiples of the project (example 2 different cards and 4 of each) and each month it is different.  Mostly it is card projects, but there have been cute 3D items and tags too.
And the good thing is that if you don't want to make it the way the instructions tell you, you can alternate it.  You can see some of the alternate items on my Pinterest board here.
And the best part is the price!  You get the whole kit (which includes shipping) for $24.95 plus taxes each month.   And there are discounts if you order 3 months more at a time.
Why not give it a try this month?   JOIN today
  • Get your friends together to share and make the kit contents together (there is enough for 3-5 friends).
  • Or have each of your friends get their own kit and have a crafting day!!
  • Take your kit on the road...to the cabin, on holidays, to grandmas.
  • Put aside time each month for you, to do something you love!

Thank you for stopping by and stay tuned for more Christmas projects throughout the week....

Santa Claus Fry Box

Hello my crafty peeps!

Last Friday was "Fabulous Friends, Pizza and Stamping" at my place and we made 4 Christmas boxes.  I have already shown you the Elf Fry Box but today I will go over the Santa one, I found the idea and video on Pinterest.

I made very similar to the other treat boxes I made last week.
  1. Real Red CS cut in half at 5.5", I also die-cut  the belt with Basic Black CS using the Fry Box Die.
  2. Position a 1/2" strip of Basic Black over the center of the box front, and run it through the Big Shot.  To make the Belt Details, adhere the die-cut belt with Fast Fuse or Sticky Strip.  Punch a Petite Curly Label shape or square from Silver Glimmer Paper, then pop up with Dimensionals.  Add a 1/2" square of Basic Black over the center of the buckle with Glue Dots.
  3. To make the Santa we die cut his hair/hat fur with the Wonderful Wreath die on Whisper White CS and the Mustache die. Then we used the large oval punch to cut out his face out of Blushing Bride CS.  Using the Owl punch we also cut out 2 circles for the nose and mouth out of Blushing Bride and a small circle out of Real Red.  If you chose not to use google eyes, you would make the eyes with the Owl punch as well.
  4. Using the 2" circle punch cut out a peice of Real Red CS for the hat which is glued to the back of the Whicper White CS wreath cut out.
  5. Now assemble your face, we started by attaching the moustache with pop up with Dimensionals. Then the nose, mouth and finally the eyes.   We inked the nose, and face to give it some dimension, I also used the Stampin Write marker for some eyebrows.

Holiday Gift Card Holders

Hello my crafty peeps!

If you are like me, you say you will make all your cards and do your christmas shopping early and not wait till the last second... BUT time seems to slip by and BAM its almost Christmas!

I tend to give at least one person on my Christmas list a gift card. That's why today's project is a gift card holder.

Instructions:
  • Make 3 from an A4 sheet of cardstock. The belly band slides off and it opens up for a gift card holder.

    1. Cut a piece of A4 cardstock in 3 vertically so you end up with 3 pieces 2.75” wide x 11” long.
    2. Using the largest Framelit from the Lots of Labels Framelit set; cut the rounded edge as shown in the photo below. (Borrowed photo from Claire Daly)
    3. Starting from the straight end, score at 8cm and 12cm.
    4. Using a 2" Circle punch, cut a semi-circle in the straight end.
    5. Emboss the 8cm long piece with the semi-circle (I used the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder)
    6. Cut a piece of Stampin' Up! Tear and Tape in half vertically (so you have two thinner strips). Use these to adhere the embossed pieces down to create the pouch. If you keep the tape the same width it's a bit of a tight fit for the card, but this fits and holds just fine.
    7. Cut a piece of DSP using the second Largest Lots of Labels Framelit and use that to decorate the front of the flap.
    8. Then just create your belly band and decoration. I used a 2 3/8" Scallop Punch, Merry Moments DSP. Also used the Penguin from Snow Place (embossed in black).

Hope you like and feel inspired to try your own version.  Love to see any of your versions...

ELF Fry box

Hello my crafty peeps!

I am trying to stay off social media and do a bit more crafting! I woke up to SNOW this morning, making it a perfect time to snuggle under a blanket and sit in my craft room.  Friday we are having a Fabulous friends, pizza and Stamping night, hoping to make a few great christmas boxes.

One we hope to make is this little ELF fry box!

I made very similar to the Frankenstien treat box I made last week.
  1. Garden Green CS cut in half at 5.5", I also die-cut the collar out of Whisper White CS and the belt with Basic Black CS using the Fry Box Die.
  2. Position a 1-1/4" wide strip of Whisper White over the box border and a 1/2" strip of Basic Black over the center of the box front, and run it through the Big Shot.
  3. To make the Belt Details, adhere the die-cut belt with Fast Fuse or Sticky Strip.  Punch a Petite Curly Label shape from Silver Glimmer Paper, then pop up with Dimensionals.  Add a 1/2" square of Basic Black over the center of the buckle with Glue Dots.

Box with Punched Ribbon Slider Lid

Hello my crafty peeps!!
My project today is the first Box, I have ever made!!  Can you believe in the 10 years I have been paper crafting I never made a box before.  I watched the video by Linda Parker on making a super sturdy Box with Punched Ribbon Slider Lid; please check out her blog and video.
To make this box you need a piece of Soft Sky CS and Island Indigo CS and some coordintaing ribbon, I chose the Island Indigo cotton ribbon. The ribbon slider for the lid was punched using the new Curvy Corner Trio Punch.
The stamp set I chose is Flurry of Wishes and I stamped it with Island Indigo Ink and then cut out with the matching Punch.  I attached it to the side with dimensionals.  Prior to this i pressed into the versmark pad and the heat embossed with Irridecent Ice.

I chose these to coordinate with a card I was giving to the church ladies coffee & dessert night.

Hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come back again soon to see what else I have to share.
If you would like to purchase Stampin’ Up! Product to complete your paper crafting projects, please shop at my online store.
