This romcom had me laughing out loud and cringing in embarrassment for the characters. The author's writing is effortless, and loved the banter and all of the characters in this book . Beyond the humor, the story delivers heartwarming moments and swoon-worthy scenes. The perfect blend of spice, romance, and comedy makes this book a must-read for fans of the genre.

If you're looking for a lighthearted, engaging romance with a dash of spice, this book is for you. With its relatable characters, witty dialogue, and heartfelt moments, it's a true page-turner.

The Cotswold village setting is beautifully described, creating a sense of nostalgia and charm. The intriguing premise and ghostly mystery kept me invested 

This book stands out for its richly drawn characters, both living and ghostly. Sharon Booth has a remarkable gift for crafting multidimensional characters with relatable flaws, fears, and dreams.

The relationship between Clara and Jack resonated deeply, feeling authentic and nuanced. Their struggles, secrets, and difficult conversations were portrayed with sensitivity and realism. The way their love is portrayed as messy yet transformative is particularly compelling.

The romance between Agnes and Aubrey in the afterlife is equally moving. The way their love navigates challenges such as fear, control, and the longing to hold on too tightly adds depth to the story.

The parallels between the two couples are cleverly drawn, highlighting the complexities and transformative power of love. This book is a beautiful exploration of relationships, love, and personal growth.

I highly recommend this charming novel and look forward to the next instalment.

Today I am reviewing the "The Paris Bookshop for the Broken-Hearted” by Rebecca Raisin. I really enjoyed stepping away from my normal mystery reading and it was so refreshing and heartfelt.  I’m a big fan of Rebecca Raisin’s books.

I absolutely loved this book! I found myself engrossed in story, after Coco’s story as she rediscovers herself and uproots her daughter by moving back to Paris.

  
I found the story to be more about finding your way in the world, family, friendship and yes love.   I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves books and wants a feel good read.

I found the characters to be well developed, and multi-dimensional. It’s a great follow up to book two Written in the Stars, and I can’t wait to pick up the authors next book! 

I will definitely read other books by this author.

Today I am reviewing the "Christmas at the Little Paris Hotel” by Rebecca Raisin. I really enjoyed, it was so refreshing and heartfelt.

Turn a tumbledown Paris hotel into a perfect boutique, bookish retreat, and have it open for Christmas? What could possibly go wrong? 

When Anais receives a near-derelict Paris hotel in her divorce settlement, her first thought is to tidy it up and sell it immediately. All she wants is to move on and forget her disaster of a marriage ever happened.

But selling it proves impossible, so she has only one option: to make it gorgeous and open by Christmas… when her funds will almost certainly run out.

She’s not counting on the grumpy American bar-owner next door, Noah, coming and interfering at every moment though. Nor is she expecting to find a mysterious room – which holds the key to a one-hundred-year-old secret – about a woman who chose love against the odds.

One thing’s for sure… as the fairy lights twinkle all over the city of lights and the first snowflakes start to fall… this will be a Christmas in Paris to remember.

I absolutely loved this book! I found myself engrossed in story, after Anais’s divorce settlement she embarks on refurbishing a derelict hotel into a bookish retreat.  Who wouldn’t want an escape to Paris for Christmas and stay at a boutique hotel that caters to bookworms.

 
I found the story to be more about finding your way in the world, family, friendship and yes love.   I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves books and wants a feel good read.

I found the characters to be well developed, and multi-dimensional. There were multiple sub-plots to keep you engaged and interested in the outcome.

I will definitely read other books by this author.

The slow-burn romance between Millie and Callum was captivating, and the eerie atmosphere of the house added to the sense of foreboding. The twists and turns were expertly handled, leading to a stunning conclusion that left me breathless. I didn't see it coming, and it was absolute perfection! This book is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers and suspenseful storytelling.

I will definitely read other books by this author.

The setting of a tiny village called Driftwood Bay sounded breathtaking, I could picture it especially as I have visited small villages along the coast of England.  It had everything you could want in a story love, family, community and second chances.

I found the characters to be well developed, and multi-dimensional. There were multiple sub-plots like the dancing competition, the relationship with her daughter to keep you engaged and interested in the outcome. It’s a great series, and I can’t wait to pick up Meredith’s story in the next book! 

I will definitely read other books by this author.
