Ice Cream anyone?

Hello my crafty peeps!
Todays card is one inspired by my little friend Maddex, he saw a Pinterest post of one similar and asked that we make him one. So of course I said YES!
Flavor… Do you have a favorite even when the temperatures outside are too cold for ice cream??

I’d have to say YES.  Even when it’s cold outside I can go for a big bowl of strawberry ice cream.  What about YOU?

I love this set/bundle - punch can be used for so so much.  For todays card we used the following:
Stamp Set – Sprinkles of Life, Itty Bitty Banners
Ink – Chocolate Chip, Blushing Bride, Tip Top Taupe
Cardstock – Tip Top Taupe, Marina Mist, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip
Accessories – Dots Embossing Folder, Tree Builder Punch, Wink of Stella,  Stampin’ Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive, Paper Snips, Big Shot

Hope he and you like it!

"Sprinkles of Life"

Hello my crafty peeps!

I just can't get enough of this set, not only does it have a tree and a matching build a tree punch but this set was designed for charity. Namely the Ronald McDonald House!

I think the set is not only great fun, but also very versatile. You'll see this set used lots in the coming months!

A fun idea is to mix and match sentiment sets to make different sentences. This time a sentiment from the new set Sprinkles of Life and one of the Sassy Sentiments.

Here is a fun cupcake of flowers (cased from Pinterest) created using the Sprinkles of Life. The flowers balance out the basket along with the sentiment.  This was a really fun, easy card to assemble and having a coordinating punch to match the stamp set helps out!

TIps & Tricks:

  1. When trying to decide what to purchase, from the new catalog consider purchasing bundles!
  2. They are a great deal and the coordinating items make it easy to add extra pizzazz to your cards.
  3. Finish flowers off with a pearl, rhinestone or Candy Dot. (Bling who doesn't like Bling)
  4. The Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set is one of my favourite sets for backgrounds!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tea and Crafting - You've Got This!

Hello my crafty peeps!

Had a great time Wednesday with Brenda for our weekly Tea and Crafting make & take.  I planned 2 cards ahead of time that we could watercolour and one with only stamping involved, but at the last minute threw in a third we could colour with Copics.

We were all set for the afternoon!  We started with the water colouring using the "Sprinkles of Life" stamp set, and a stamp I had with some rain boots, watercolour paper, and Soft Sky CS.

We both were a little muddled that day but had fun, weather was beautiful to have the sliding door open, listening to the water fountain on the deck.

The second card was made using the "You've Got This" stamp set, love this set as great for all occasions.  For this one our card base was tempting Turquoise, and we used the Whisper White CS for front and inside.

The third card we used the "Kind Koala" stamp and Wild Wasabi CS, DSP and stitched ribbon.

Hope you enjoyed today's post, and any comments are greatly appreciated.

Hugs, Karen
