The Taming of the Broom by Erin Johnson

Hello my cozy friends,

Today I am reviewing
The Taming of the Broom the 6th instalment in Erin Johnson's Paranormal Magical Renaissance Faire Mysteries

Pirates, mutiny and murder! Can this broom-making witch catch a killer?

Adelaide “Laidey” Ryan is adjusting to her new life in a cursed Renaissance Faire. But it’s not all bad for this broom-crafting witch. Her snarky black cat familiar and the dashing pirate captain help make the fantastical faire feel like home, but trouble is brewing for this novice witch…

When a pirate is murdered and the handsome captain thrown behind bars, Laidey vows to get to the bottom of this murky case. With an enchanted broom on the lam, a centuries old vendetta against a sea sorceress, and mutinous scallywags threatening her life, she’s soon sailing into dangerous waters.

Can Laidey conjure the clues to catch the murderer, or will this new witch end up sleeping with the fishes?

Taming of the Broom is the sixth book in the humorous paranormal cozy series, Magical Renaissance Faire Mysteries. If you like hilarious heroines, fun faires, and imaginative mysteries, you’ll love Erin Johnson’s charming whodunit.

I loved this latest instalment, set in a cursed Renaissance Faire, I found it to be super fun, humorous and Adelaide "Laidey" and her talking cat Mort are delightful and I loved seeing how she’s starting to fit in, has good friends in Tom, Hilde and her crush Pirate Captain Bruce Roberts.

There were plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing on who the culprit was. Overall this was a great paranormal cozy and I hope there will be plenty more to come.

I highly recommend this series to all my friends.

I received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
